Every year, Burning Coal leads tours of the greatest theatre city in North America, the Big Apple!
While there, we see extraordinary Broadway and Off-Broadway plays, visit extraordinary historic and cultural sites such as the Statue of Liberty, the World Trade Center memorial, The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Times Square, Central Park and Carnegie Hall. We’ll also take classes and workshops with working professional theatre artists and get a personally guided tour of the city by one of Burning Coal’s own staff members. Dinners are done together in midtown or downtown restaurants, breakfasts are in the hotel, and numerous other fun things are curated (like a trip to the M&Ms store!).
Depending on the number of travelers and current costs of items, the tour can take place over 2 to 4 nights, and can include transportation, hotel, some meals, all the shows and other events.
Burning Coal Theatre Company is funded in part by the City of Raleigh based on recommendations of the Raleigh Arts Commission. Burning Coal Theatre Company is supported by the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
