
Burning Coal Theatre is a professional theatre, which means we pay our artists. Every year, Burning Coal Theatre auditions local and national talent for plays and performances in our location in Downtown Raleigh, NC. See below for more information.

Season Auditions will take place on SATURDAY, MAY 3rd from 9am-6pm at The Murphey School Auditorium, 224 Polk St., Raleigh , NC 27604
SIGN UP FOR A 5-MINUTE AUDITION SLOT HERE
Please prepare a 1-minute contemporary monologue and 32 bars maximum of a song. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring printed sheet music in your key and two copies of your headshot and resume.
If you are called back for ONCE, you will be asked to perform 32 bars on your instrument at the callbacks. Please sing with the accompanist during the initial audition.
If you are unable to audition in-person, you may submit a video audition using the form below. Video Auditions are due by May 1st at 11:59 PM.
Callbacks will be scheduled on an individual basis. If you are not cast this season, we will keep your resume on file (although we recommend re-auditioning annually to keep your records up to date).
