Learn from a master with a cooking lesson for four conducted by the always entertaining Arthur Gordon, who founded the renowned Irregardless Cafe and was the guiding force behind it for 45 years. And that’s not all! The lesson includes a pescatarian dinner for four — you’ll be eating what you cooked! — hosted by Arthur and his wife, Anya Gordon. The cooking lesson plus dinner, including cocktails and wine, will be held at the Gordons’ Midtown Raleigh home at a mutually convenient time during 2024.

Join Georgia and Alec Donaldson at the Executive Mansion- yes, we’re talking about the governor’s house- to sample Georgia’s prize-winning pickles in hors d’oeuvres and drinks. A group of eight can experience this fun outing at the Mansion at a mutually agreeable date in 2024. (Wednesday afternoons are best; the sooner the better.)

All fundraisers raise funds to pay our artists and support the work you see on stage. THEY also HELP us keep ticket prices low to make Burning Coal accessible to everyone. In addition to a Pay-What-You-Can day for every Main Stage production, our ticket prices range from $5 – 30. If we charged our full value, ticket prices would double.
