* COVID Precautions for indoor events Beginning with our June, 2022 performances, we will require audience members to wear a high-quality mask (3-ply surgical, KN95, N95) in lieu of checking vaccination status, and we will offer 3-ply surgical or KN95 masks to audience members as needed.

Henrietta Leavitt dreams of being an astronomer, but isn’t allowed to touch a telescope. Be transported to the Harvard Observatory in the early 1900s, and discover what really happened in Henrietta’s battle for recognition. This is a family-friendly production.

Friday, December 2nd – College Night ($5 tickets for College Students)

Saturday, December 3rd – Afterthoughts Talk Back after the show

Sunday, December 4th – Pay-What-You-Can Day (name your price per ticket, at the door only)

Saturday, December 10th – Raleigh Astronomy Club (RAC) / North Carolina Museum of Natural Science (NCMNS)’s Night at the Theatre, including pre-show telescope technology display and post-show discussion

Friday, December 16th – Pre-Show music from a local band starting at 7:00 P.M.

Tickets to a particular performance are subject to availability, and we recommend subscribers reserve tickets 48 hrs* in advance to guarantee their spot. Reserving your ticket means you’ll be on the check-in list for that performance. To reserve, please email your preferred performance date/time to: development@burningcoal.orgto reserve your ticket, or call the box office at (919) 834-4001. *Reservations made less than 48 hours in advance may not be entered in time!
 
If you did not make a reservation, please bring the subscriber card that was mailed to you for a quick verification at check-in. We will do our best to seat you.
