Meet our new membership for young professionals!

Join Club 39 to connect with your generation of theatre lovers, get preview-night access, and support the work you see on stage.

COVID-19 Precaution: Indoor events at the theatre will require a high quality mask. If you do not bring one, Burning Coal will provide one for you.

Treat yourself to join a new generation of theatre-lovers, or give it as a gift (this Welcome Box is very giftable!).

– Access to all MainStage preview nights (the Wednesday evening before opening night), with a pre-show social at a local bar

– A Welcome Box full of goodies

– A free ticket voucher ($30 value) to come back to see a show or gift to a friend

– The Club 39 E-Newsletter for show reminders and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks. (plus we won’t spam you, and you can always opt out)

– Your membership will support Burning Coal as a local, downtown Raleigh non-profit arts organization (it’s a win-win!).
The annual $39 fee is now reduced to $30 for the remainder of the season! Good for one ticket to each of our 4 mainstage productions for all folks 39 and below! To get your Welcome Box, you can pick it up at the theatre or have it shipped to you for an additional fee (select option at checkout).

If you have questions, give us a call at 919.834.4001 or email development@burningcoal.org.
Club 39 is created for people age 21-39 who love the avant-garde, off-beat, experiential theatre Burning Coal offers. Here, you’ll find a spectrum of performing arts from world premiers to classics to musicals – and it will always be experienced, not simply seen.

We won’t be checking I.D.s (unless you purchase an alcoholic beverage at intermission), so the 21-39 age range is more of a guideline than a rule.

Joining Club 39 supports the local, professional theatre presented by Burning Coal. For over 25 years, Burning Coal has worked to represent all of Raleigh. Here, internationally-renowned artists work alongside local professionals to develop one-of-a-kind experiences. The stories we choose to tell relate to the conversations going on at the dinner tables across the Triangle. Community and artistry come together at Burning Coal.
