“You are about to find out that time is so much bigger and blacker and so much more boundless than you could ever have thought possible. Poor old Sharky. You’ve really got it for her, haven’t you?”
In McPherson’s brilliant comedy-drama, its Christmas Eve, and the lads have gathered for their weekly poker hand and a drop of the rare ole dew. But one of them has brought a special guest on this night, and when the last hand is played, someone may lose their soul.
