You can contribute in EIGHT different ways: Subscribe, Make a General Support Contribution, Make a Murphey School Contribution, Volunteer, Hammer a Nail, House an Out-of Town-Artist, Spread the Word, Fulfill our Wishlist.

When you subscribe to Burning Coal you are guaranteed a seat, and you also provide us with valuable funding needed to make the season happen.

• You can subscribe to Burning Coal’s 25^th Anniversary Season (2021/22) either by subscribing to our Mainstage Season of four plays or by subscribing to our Breakfast Club Series, which includes a subscription to the Mainstage Season, our Second Stage Series (Wait Til You See This!) and breakfast with our Artistic Director in October 2021 at the lovely Tenth & Terrace on the roof of the Residence Inn in Downtown Raleigh (catered by the Flying Biscuit!)
• A Mainstage Season subscription is $80 
• A Breakfast Club subscription is $110.

By making a tax-deductible contribution to our annual operating campaign, you support Burning Coal Theatre’s ongoing programming. 

For Honors Donations, please make your contribution here, then email Burning Coal at development@burningcoal.org with the name or names of the Honors Recipient.  Their name(s) will then be listed in our programs.

Levels of giving are:

• 1. Patron – $1000 +
  2. Benefactor – $500 – 999
  3. Contributor – $250 – 499
  4. Associate – $100 – 249
  5. Advocate – up to $99

Interested in meeting new people, interacting with the theatre community, or just looking for something to do on a Friday night? Then become a volunteer! You’ll earn a free ticket to a show and will be providing us with a valuable service. Please call us at 919.834.4001 to discuss.

We are always looking for groups and individuals that are interested in helping us build a show. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, your time and help is always welcome. Please call us at 919.834.4001 to discuss.

No single activity helps Burning Coal as much as this one! We need nice, clean, semi-private places to house visiting actors, directors and designers. Anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks needed! Please call us at 919.834.4001 to discuss.

Tell your family, co-workers and friends about Burning Coal. Word of mouth is our greatest strength! 

Burning Coal seeks the following items:

• • Warehouse storage space
  • Rehearsal space and/or a place to build scenery
  • Cordless or corded drills
  • Hotel or motel rooms for 1 to 6 weeks

Burning Coal partners with organizations to build mutually beneficial relationships.

Give your employees thought-provoking, profound experiences, promote your brand to local audiences, and support innovative art in your community through a sponsorship.

Show sponsorships start at $500, and can be easily tailored to your unique needs. Season-long sponsorship packages are also available, and include extra benefits at the same price per show. Sponsorships for individual fundraisers or education programs start at $100.
Pricing is purposefully set at an accessible level to encourage participation from not-for-profits and businesses of all sizes. We are here to listen to your partnership goals, and aim to provide a straightforward experience.
