In the autumn of 1989, crowds began to appear in large metropolitan cities across Eastern Europe’s Soviet Bloc countries.  Inside the countries’ governments, a small group of men and women huddled.  “What do they want?”  The answer came back firmly:  “They want to be free.”  NOTE: The Iron Curtain Trilogy will be performed at 117 S. West Street in downtown Raleigh.
