Burning Coal’s Director of Education Jason Tyne-Zimmerman leads a six week class on performing (and enjoying!) Improvisation. This class includes five weekly sessions plus a final, culminating public performance on Tuesday, October 16th.
ABOUT JASON TYNE-ZIMMERMAN
Jason Tyne-Zimmerman is a director, playwright, and actor.  He has trained with the UCB Theater, The PIT, and the Magnet in New York City as well as performing with the long-running improv team Queen of Sharks. His New York City directing credits include Romeo and Juliet Drink the Young Wine, Head Games, The Cooking King, And That’s The Way It Is! (…if you think so), Baby with the Bathwater, as well as two operas for Empire Opera Company. As an actor, he has performed in Shakespeare Showdown’s Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding, An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein, Much Ado about Nothing, and Henry IV Part 2. He holds an MFA from Northwestern University in directing and an MA from NYU in educational theater.
